About the event
It's normally not safe to pick up litter on the curvy part of Forward Ave./Commercial St., but we have a unique opportunity to do some good work.
Swisshelm Forward got special permission from PennDOT, Fay (the contractors), and the City to do a litter clean up while the road is closed.
If you live in Swisshelm Park, we are asking 2-4 carloads worth of volunteers to join us to drive around and help clean up the far side of the valley. We will leave from the Swisshelm Park playground at 8:45 am.
If you don't live in Swisshelm Park, we will see you at the intersection of Forward Ave. and Summerset Dr. at 9 am.
We will provide provide water, trash bags, and as many gloves and grabbers as we can. Please feel free to bring your own
